  • In the week leading up to your appointment, please avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, retinoids, and glycolic acids, to ensure your skin is calm, healthy, and ready for optimal results. If needed an antiviral can be prescribed before or after your treatment.

  • Your Consultation begins with a thorough discussion of your goals so we can create a customized treatment plan and determine the ideal settings for your skin. When appropriate, a small test spot may be performed to evaluate your skin's response and help decide the depth of resurfacing you're comfortable with. 

    We'll also review expected results, potential side effects, safety considerations, and any sensations or discomfort you may experience. The goal is to ensure you feel informed, prepared and confident before moving forward.

  • Ideally you would arrive with clean skin. After a quick cleanse, we apply a topical numbing cream for comfort and once numb, degrease the skin with alcohol and protect your eyes with medical-grade metal goggles. 

    Once the treatment begins, each area is carefully addressed using your customized settings. Afterward, the skin is cooled with sterile water and gauze, and a soothing post-procedure balm is applied for you to wear home. 

  • An essential part of your CO2 healing process happens at home. To ensure proper recovery and the best possible results, you'll receive a curated post-procedure kit from NeoGenesis that must be used as instructed. The products support your skin's repair, protect your investment, and significantly enhance your outcome. 

    • Avoid sweating, workouts, hot yoga, steam rooms, and saunas for 48-72 hours. 

    • Cleanse twice daily using a recommended gentle cleanser.

    • Apply Neogeneisis Recovery Serum and MB2 Balm 3-4 times a day, as needed, to keep the skin hydrated, protected, and comfortable. 

    • Keep the skin soothed, avoid scratching and picking, and follow all instructions closely for optimal healing and long term results.

  • This CO2 Fractional Laser is a carbon dioxide laser that instead of fully ablating the skin, creates micro-thermal zones of injury to remove damaged skin layers, leaving surrounding skin intact. In this way, it stimulates deep collagen production, with improved healing times.

  • The Solaria CO2 treatment is actually quite tolerable. You may experience slight discomfort, but we do use a topical numbing treatment to make you as comfortable as possible.

  • Your skin will be tighter and visibly smoother in 7-10 days, however results continue to improve over time and you may continue to see changes up to 3-6 months later.

  • The most common area to treat with CO2 laser is the face, but the neck, décolleté, and hands can also be treated.

  • You should plan for about 7-10 days of downtime based on the depth of laser peel you receive. Healing times may very, however, with the recommended home care and strict adherence to post-procedure instructions you may feel confident to be out in public by day 5. Your skin will be bronzed like a sunburn for approximately 72 hours post procedure. You may scab and peel between days 2 and 7 and experience some residual redness for up to 2-3 weeks.

  • Many clients will see great results after just one treatment! However the depth of peel comes into play, and some clients with deeper scars and wrinkles may benefit from multiple treatments.
