Types of Chemical Peels at Foxy Glow
  • TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid) Peel

    Texture. Color. Aging.

A TCA Peel is a powerful yet controlled chemical peel designed to resurface the skin, refine texture, correct discoloration, and soften visible signs of aging. By stimulating cellular renewal and collagen remodeling, this advanced peel reveals smoother, clearer, more youthful-looking skin with long-term improvement — not just temporary glow.

  • BioRePeel

BioRePeel is a next-generation bi-phasic 35% TCA peel that delivers corrective results with little to no downtime, making it safe year-round and suitable for all skin types. Unlike traditional TCA peels, its uniquely blended formula not only exfoliates dead, damaged cells to improve texture, tone, and fine lines—but simultaneously hydrates, protects, and nourishes the skin. Infused with vitamins and amino acids, BioRePeel supports skin regeneration while maintaining barrier integrity, revealing smoother, brighter, healthier skin without the typical recovery period.

  • Vitamin A Peel

Vitamin A Peel is a powerful blended resurfacing treatment featuring 10% TCA and 10% glycolic acid and 5% Retinol, designed to deliver visible correction for acne, acne scarring, and hyperpigmentation. This advanced peel provides strong yet controlled exfoliation, accelerating cellular turnover while supporting skin renewal and repair.

Vitamin A  (retinol) works at the cellular level to regulate oil production, refine pores, and stimulate collagen, making this peel especially effective for congested, acne-prone, and scar-affected skin. The addition of glycolic acid enhances penetration and brightening, while TCA targets deeper textural irregularities—resulting in smoother skin, clearer tone, and improved overall skin resilience.

  • VI Peel®: Advanced Resurfacing

The VI Peel® is a medical-grade chemical peel formulated to improve skin clarity, tone, and texture with visible, lasting results. This advanced treatment blends TCA (trichloroacetic acid), salicylic acid, phenol, retinoic acid, vitamin C, and essential minerals to gently yet effectively resurface the skin and stimulate healthy cellular renewal.

Ideal for acne-prone and aging skin, the VI Peel targets active acne, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, melasma, and sun damage. Salicylic acid clears congested pores and reduces inflammation, while TCA and retinoic acid accelerate cell turnover to soften scars, refine texture, and brighten uneven tone. Antioxidant-rich vitamin C and minerals support healing and enhance overall skin vitality.

Before & After

★★★★★

“This is my second time to see Lindi. Just as great as the first. I had a chemical peel done for the first time and she walked me through the whole process and what to expect. She provided me insight on how to care for my skin over the next several days when it starts to peel. I was able to get some excellent product as well to make sure that I am treating my skin right. She also was good to judge what would be appropriate for my skin and having not done a peeled before. I’m excited to see the results and expect them to be great!” -Jodi M.

“Great service, great location, wonderful staff! Would definitely recommend the biopeel facial.” -Lindsay O.

FAQ

  • Chemical peels are a highly effective treatment for a variety of skin concerns, including:
        •    Acne and congestion
        •    Acne scars and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation
        •    Uneven skin tone and texture
        •    Sun damage and age spots
        •    Fine lines and early signs of aging
        •    Dull, lackluster skin

By accelerating cellular turnover, chemical peels stimulate fresh, healthy skin while supporting collagen production and overall skin vitality.

  • Proper preparation is key to achieving optimal results. Prior to your chemical peel, you may be advised to:
        •    Avoid exfoliating products, retinoids, and acids for 5–7 days
        •    Discontinue self-tanners and waxing in the treatment area
        •    Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
        •    Follow any pre-treatment skincare instructions provided during your consultation

Your esthetician will guide you through a personalized pre- and post-care plan to ensure your skin heals beautifully and safely.

  • Peeling timelines vary depending on the type and depth of chemical peel performed, but most clients experience visible peeling between days 3–7, with some corrective peels extending up to days 3–10.

In the first 1–2 days post-treatment, the skin often feels tight, dry, and may appear slightly bronzed or resemble a mild sunburn. By day 3, the skin typically begins to shed as the peel works to release the skin’s outermost layer. For most chemical peels, the peeling process is complete by day 10, revealing smoother, brighter, and healthier-looking skin beneath.

It’s important not to pick, scratch, or manually exfoliate during this phase, as peeling is a critical part of the skin renewal process. If you find the shedding difficult to manage—or simply prefer professional care—you may schedule a DMK Lift Off appointment, where I safely and effectively support the exfoliation process while maintaining skin integrity.

  • The frequency of chemical peels depends on the type of peel used, your skin concerns, and your long-term skin goals. Most clients benefit from a series of light to medium-depth chemical peels every 4–6 weeks to improve skin tone, texture, and clarity. For corrective concerns such as acne, hyperpigmentation, or fine lines, a customized treatment plan may be recommended. Your esthetician will assess your skin and create a schedule that supports healthy skin renewal without over-exfoliation.

  • Yes—chemical peels can be safe for sensitive skin when properly selected and professionally performed. Not all peels are created equal. Gentle formulations using carefully controlled acids can actually help strengthen the skin barrier, reduce inflammation, and improve sensitivity over time. A thorough consultation and skin analysis ensures the peel is tailored to your skin’s tolerance level, making safety and comfort a top priority.

  • Chemical peels are generally well-tolerated, though some peels can create a temporary sensation of heat, tingling, or prickling on the skin. This response is a normal and expected part of the peel’s activity. The intensity and duration of sensation depend on the type of acids used, the depth of the peel, and individual skin sensitivity.

For layered chemical peels, each layer is applied with intention and precision. We wait until all active sensation has fully subsided before applying an additional layer, ensuring the skin remains within a safe and controlled response. In some cases, even the preparatory step may feel warm or intense, as it primes the skin for optimal penetration and results.

Your comfort and skin integrity are closely monitored throughout the entire treatment, and adjustments are made in real time to ensure a safe, effective, and clinically sound experience.

  • You can pair a chemical peel with microneedling. My skin is never happier than when I give it a microneedling session and a peel 2 weeks later. Also, DMK Enzyme Therapy is amazing on day 7-10 of an intense peel to clear away the dust bunnies and deal with any residual redness.
